Kathy is a Fellow and Faculty of Product Management and Society at the Harvard Kennedy School. Additionally, Kathy holds appointments as an Affiliate at the Harvard Berkman Klein Center where she co-founded and runs the Ethical Tech Working Group and Fellow at Mozilla where she leads the Responsible Computer Science Challenge and co-leads the Mozilla Fix the Internet Incubator. Kathy founded Women in Product Boston, and was on the organizing committee for ProductTank Boston. She has sat on the advisory boards of Anitab.org Silicon Valley, and the Make the Breast Pump Not Suck initiative. Previously, Kathy built products and ran product teams at Google, IBM, and the United States Digital Service at the White House.

Emily is a graduate of the Harvard Kennedy School MPP program. Emily has worked with various Bay Area tech companies to build ethical and consumer privacy-centered products. She has also worked with local government agencies in Toulouse, France and Boston, MA to conduct user research and launch online tools for the community. She is most interested in understanding how to improve product design and decision-making to increase access, equity, and justice. Emily is the co-lead of the Product Management and Public Interest Summer Convening 2020.

Emily recently graduated from a dual degree between MIT Sloan's MBA program and Harvard Kennedy School's MPA in International Development. Prior to school, she worked in Kenya for an agricultural social enterprise; her work was focused on the Innovations Team's tech portfolio, which included scaling mobile repayment for farmers and piloting tablets for precision agriculture. She is currently a Senior Product Manager on Zillow's Rentals team, where she is interested in creating user-centered products that make the rental search process fairer, less biased, and more transparent. Emily is the co-lead of the Product Management and Public Interest Summer Convening 2020.
